At the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, referrals aren’t just valuable—they’re vital to the growth of our business community. That’s why we created our Member Referral Program—to recognize members who actively share the benefits of Chamber membership with potential new members.
When you refer a business or organization from your network, you’re helping us advance our mission to help the business community thrive by:
- Connecting – Fostering meaningful relationships and collaboration.
- Promoting – Enhancing visibility for local businesses.
- Developing – Supporting growth and professional development.
- Informing – Keeping our business community engaged and aware.
Your referrals strengthen the Chamber, expand our network, and create more opportunities for Auburn’s businesses to connect, flourish, and succeed. Together, we can build an even stronger Auburn.
How It Works
- Identify a business, vendor, or individual who could benefit from Chamber membership.
- Inform them you’ve referred them, and let them know the Chamber will be in touch.
- Submit Your Referral using our online form.
- We’ll Contact the business and mention your company as the referring member.
- Recognition for You – Your business will be featured in Auburn Chamber This Morning and in the new member’s welcome post on our social media stories.
Program Details
- First Referral Wins – If multiple members refer the same prospect, we’ll honor the first referring member.
- No Limit – Submit as many referrals as you’d like!
- Membership Secured – The new member must pay one full year of dues (monthly or annually) within three months of your referral.
Program Terms
- Referring members must be in good standing (current year’s dues fully paid).
- A referral is a new business or a returning business (not a member for at least 12 months) that joins as a direct result of your outreach.
- Referrals do not apply to businesses already in contact with the Chamber about joining.
