April 24, 2026 – Auburn, Ala. — The Auburn Chamber, in partnership with Auburn University Athletics and the City of Auburn, inducted a new class of athletic legends into the Tiger Trail of Auburn on April 18, 2026, at the Auburn Athletics Complex.

This year’s honorees included Danielle Downey, Tyler McGill, Benji Roland, and Coach Ralph Spry. Each inductee will be recognized with an engraved plaque placed along the sidewalks of downtown Auburn, joining the distinguished group of individuals who have made a lasting impact on Auburn athletics and the community.

Inspired by the vision of the late Ken Brown, the Auburn Chamber launched the Tiger Trail in 1995 to honor outstanding athletes, coaches, and administrators. The 2026 induction ceremony continued that tradition, celebrating excellence and preserving Auburn’s rich athletic legacy.

The event began with breakfast at 9 a.m. in the lobby, followed by the induction ceremony at 10 a.m. in the Rane Room at the Auburn Athletics Complex, located at 392 S. Donahue Drive.

Guests were welcomed by Auburn Chamber President and CEO Anna Hovey, with remarks from Auburn University leadership and City of Auburn officials. Each inductee was formally introduced and recognized for their contributions to Auburn Athletics.

“We are honored to continue the Tiger Trail tradition by celebrating these outstanding individuals and their contributions to Auburn,” said Anna Hovey. “Each new addition represents a meaningful piece of our history and reflects the spirit of the Auburn family.”

The 2026 Tiger Trail inductees were as follows:

• Danielle Downey | Women’s Golf, 1999–2003
• Tyler McGill | Men’s Swimming, 2006–2010
• Benji Roland | Football, 1985–1988
• Coach Ralph Spry | Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, 1997–2022
