A Legacy of Leadership, Building For Tomorrow
The Auburn Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a major milestone in its long-standing commitment to supporting Auburn’s business community: the development of a new Chamber & Community Business Center. Made possible through the 75 Years Strong campaign, this project reflects the Chamber’s dedication to helping local businesses grow, connect, and thrive within Auburn’s expanding and dynamic business environment.
For more than seven decades, the Chamber has served as a trusted partner to businesses of all sizes. With Auburn’s rapid growth and increasing demand for collaborative space, educational programming, and business support services, the new center will provide the modern facilities and tools needed for the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
A $3.5 Million Investment in Auburn’s Business Future: Expanding Space, Strengthening Programs, and Building a Modern Hub for Collaboration
The new Chamber & Community Business Center will be approximately 7,100 square feet and located on the Chamber’s existing site, maintaining central access and community convenience. The current building has reached its structural limits, prompting the need for a modern, flexible facility that can better serve members and support expanding programming.
This forward-looking investment will provide increased capacity for events, meetings, workforce initiatives, leadership programs, civic gatherings, and business development activities — positioning the Chamber as an even stronger convener and resource for the Auburn community.
Designed by SS&L Architects with Bailey-Harris Construction serving as the commercial contractor, the new building will include:
-
A 2,277 sq. ft. main meeting hall, a 50% increase over today’s space
-
Seating capacity for up to 150 guests at 5-foot rounds
-
Multiple indoor and outdoor event areas, including two courtyards
-
Modern office space for the Chamber team
-
38 dedicated parking spaces, primarily behind the building
-
State-of-the-art audio/visual and presentation technology
-
ADA accessibility throughout
-
A welcoming, residential-inspired design that reflects the character of the Auburn community
Construction is expected to begin late spring 2026 and will take approximately 12 months to complete.
